For many years, ProSpon in Kladno has been developing and manufacturing implants tailored to specific patients. Using 3D metal printing, designers are able to create bone replacements that precisely match human anatomy—a technology that the company was the first in Central and Eastern Europe to introduce for the production of implants.
Behind this development is the life story of designer Zdeněk Čejka (one of the company's founders) and his collaboration with scientists from the Czech Technical University in Prague. Together, they are pushing the boundaries of what is possible in modern medicine.
Thanks to these innovations, doctors can now save limbs and give patients hope for a full life.
