In its effort to achieve high quality of its products and maximum customer satisfaction MEDIN cooperates not only with a number of top surgeons, but also with many experts from universities, professional institutions and other organizations.  

The basic precondition for successful application of our products in top hospitals and medical centres is the support of our own research and development based on close cooperation with surgeons as the customers and users of our products on the one hand and with researches of prestigious universities and institutions on the other hand.

Thus, especially within common research and development projects MEDIN cooperates, besides a number of important clinics, with university departments of the Mining University, Ostrava; Czech Technical University, Prague; Technical University, Brno; Polytechnic University, Jihlava; University of Pardubice; Palacký University, Olomouc; University of Chemical Technology, including foreign research entities in Germany, Taiwan and other countries.

Within its activities in the areas of in-house production, research and development, or organization of education MEDIN cooperates with a number of professional organizations and institutions: ČSÚCH, ČAS, POUZP, TAČR, TC AV ČR, CzechTrade, JIC Brno, CEITEC, The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and others.

MEDIN is a long-term and active member of the Association of Manufacturers and Suppliers of Medical Devices as well as a member of the Nanoprogres Cluster, involved in the research and development in the field of nanotechnologies.

MEDIN as the second largest employer in Nové Město na Moravě cooperates especially in the form of support of various activities, organization of common events, educational seminars etc. not only with the municipality of Nové Město na Moravě and the local hospital, but it also successfully implements common projects with the Highland Region. 

Board of Scientists MEDIN, a.s.


MEDIN has established a Board of Scientists to support the development and research of implantable devices and to prepare for compliance with the requirements contained in Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2017/745 on Medical Devices Regulation (MDR).

The main content of activities:

  • support in implementing the latest clinical knowledge into development of implants
  • assessment of clinical aspects of implants regarding safety and usability
  • professional assistance in optimizing of surgical techniques 
  • validity verification of clinical trials and studies data
  • designing innovation intents regarding clinical use 
  • expressing opinions on development proposals

We are very pleased that all the experts approached have agreed to join the board of scientists.
